It was resubmitted, then a minor revision was required, and then finally got accepted. A Q1 journal in the category of metallurgy in JCR. The academic assistant editors of JCR Metallurgical had a very friendly attitude. They received review comments within one month of the first review after submission. There were three reviewers in total. To my surprise, two reviewers were experts in the field. He gave very pertinent and professional comments on all aspects of the article. The editor finally recommended major revision. After careful revision, it was returned to reviewers for rereview. The second review was completed within a week and the paper was finally accepted smoothly. I think the review comments greatly help improve the overall quality of the paper. Now more and more journals are switching their publishing models to an OA model. The feature of this publishing model is that the review efficiency is generally very high, which can greatly shorten the waiting period after submission. Everyone should look at OA journals from an objective and fair perspective, and hope that the journal will get better and better. It is not so easy to be accepted by this journal.
