2017.2.24 submission and the status changed to under review immediately. 2017.4.15 major revision. Three reviewers asked 15 questions. 2017.5.4 Revised version submitted. We added some data. 2017.5.22 major revision again. The reviewers did not mention the previous issues, maybe because these were new reviewers, but raised 4 more questions. 2017.5.25 Revised and added more data. 2017.7.3 under review then becomes awaiting AE recommendation. 2017.7.7 minor revision, only needed to change two words. The review cycle is reasonably short. The editor was very nice and processed the manuscript in a timely manner. However, the reviewers’ questions were not easy to address, but I did learn a lot.

The review process is really slow. It has been under review for three months and has been rejected. There seem to be five reviewers, with two giving rejection comments, two suggesting major revisions, and one suggesting minor revisions. The final editor gave rejection comments.
