I’m a MD-PhD student in the first year of PhD. I tried to write an article. I considered it as a sort of practice writing a thesis, and then I submitted it. A notice of revision was received after half month. It was directly accepted half a month after minor revision. The submission fee was 200, and the publication fee was 4500, which should be considered quite expensive. It is recommended for students who consider it as a stop-gap can submit, but the periodicity is longer than one year. Thanks to Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis, for accepting my first work.

Originally thought that the research direction was relatively niche and unlikely to be accepted, but in the end, both of the two reviewers gave consistently positive feedback, and the journal editor also gave positive feedback. If there are good ideas related to spectroscopy, it is worth a try, after all, it is an SCI journal.
