There were not many comments, and I felt that the reviewers were of average level or not in the similar field. It was accepted on the second day after the submission. Let’s talk about my personal objective opinions, for your information only. Objectively speaking, the levels of the articles in this journal are uneven, and some articles are indeed good. However, the levels of most articles are low. Many journals of MDPI have been definitely included in the blocklist by our college, including Atmosphere. The boss of the research group also firmly opposed to our resubmission. If it is not for emergency, it is strongly not recommended to submit to this journal. It is a valueless journal, which you can have articles published in it, as long as you pay the fees.

On July 31st, I submitted my first sci paper by stepping on the tail of SI.
On August 11th, three reviewers replied with major revisions, which were completed within 10 days. The suggestions mainly focused on academic norms and did not argue with the core of the paper. 
On August 14th, the editorial team accepted the minor revisions after resubmission.
Revised on August 18th,
Accepted on August 23rd, payment made, and publication confirmed.

Previously, I submitted a similar study to a domestic journal in June 2022, which is an A-ranked journal in the school's discipline directory. It was accepted within a month but will be published in February 2024, which is unbelievably slow.
The speed of this journal is also ridiculous.
At the time, I really didn't want to make major changes to this short paper and just wanted to fully express my own ideas. I submitted to this journal because there was a special issue, and the service and speed were really fast. The only frustrating thing is that the impact factor is not high, and my boss hesitates to cover the publication fee.

Personally, I feel that the quality of articles in this journal is decent, better than journals like Land, Sustainability, and that prestigious environmental and public health journal, as it is more specialized in the field. I hope this journal continues to improve after being accepted

The reviewers were very professional. Although some of them only wrote a few sentences, their points were precise.
Possibly due to a low impact factor, the reviewers were relatively lenient.
After the revisions, the status was pending editor decision for a day. It was the first time encountering this, and after searching for comments, I felt a little anxious. Thankfully, it didn't delay much.
There was a small issue with the invoice, so I emailed the editor, and received a reply resolving the problem in less than a day.
The speed was really fast!

We submitted an article with collaborators, but overall, we felt that the journal's quality was poor. The main problem was that the reviewing process was not very strict, and the reviewers were expected to provide feedback quickly within a short period of time. This made it difficult for the reviewers to effectively complete their tasks. Additionally, the time given to reviewers for revisions was estimated to be very short, which resulted in a lack of rigor in the review process and did not provide much assistance in improving the article. Furthermore, the journal had high fees, and if this continues, it could damage the journal's reputation and it wouldn't be surprising if it ends up on the warning list again. The one-month publishing cycle is also too rushed, and reviewers should be given more time, at least a month, to complete the review process. Additionally, most of the editors are Chinese, and it is likely that due to company pressure, they have been working tirelessly, resulting in a very fast pace.

If you are in a hurry to graduate, you can submit to this journal. However, if not, it is recommended to submit to a different journal. Overall, it feels like a predatory journal aimed at making money.
