My research is on visible light photocatalytic degradation of contaminants. 2017-10-6, submitted; 2017-10-22, received the review comments, four reviewers, one requested minor revision, one requested major revision, and the other two did not make any suggestions. We were given 3 months (Maybe the editor gave us this much time because it looked like the requested experiments would take a long time). The editor gave us 30 days to revise the paper. 2018-1-8, resubmitted the revised paper after careful revision, and we had also revised the format according to the requirements of ACS. 2018-1-18, accepted. Overall, ACS is really efficient. Generally, an editor is assigned the day after submission. I wish ACS ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering gets better and better.
