Materials typically returned to the author for revisions include the original manuscript, reviewers' comments, and a covering letter from the editor. Upon receiving the revised manuscript, the author should carefully read the covering letter and reviewers' comments. Then, the author should consider whether they can or are willing to accept the suggestions from the reviewers or editors and make the necessary revisions. The likelihood of the article being accepted can be gauged from the response of the editor and feedback from the reviewers. Revisions should not be rushed; it is important to read and understand the reviewers' comments thoroughly. Each comment should be addressed individually (responding to reviewer 1, 2, 3); specific modifications made in the revised manuscript should be clearly indicated (page, lines); and a thank-you note should be sent to the editor, acknowledging the suggested revisions and explaining reasons for any modifications that were not made
