Originally submitted to Xenotransplantation, later transferred to Artificial Organs, submitted on April 22, 2016. Under review the next day, waited for a full 50 days. When I was almost desperate, the status changed to waiting decision. No review comments. Major or minor revisions. Then I became even more desperate. But the next day, it was directly accepted. During these 50 days, I read a lot of articles from this magazine. I found that the language requirements weren't particularly high. It leans towards clinical and engineering articles. Creativity is very important! Another thing, I calculated the average review period to be 3 weeks to 6 weeks. My 7 weeks should be an exception

Experience sharing: My first submission to SCI was in the journal Xenotransplantation, but it was later transferred to Artificial Organs. I submitted on April 22, 2016, and it went under review the next day. I waited a total of 50 days, feeling quite hopeless, until the status changed to "waiting decision" without any reviewer comments or requests for major or minor revisions. Review speed: 2.0 | Submission hit rate: 75.0 Experience sharing: I submitted an article at the end of January. After 40 days of review, it was recommended for minor revisions. The two reviewers raised a total of 12 interesting questions. After making the revisions in 4 days, it was accepted on the third day. The whole process took 1.5 months. Overall, submitting to this journal was not difficult, but having a good idea is important. The review period was not very long. You can give it a try!

Experience Sharing: The review speed of this journal is quite fast. Our research team recently submitted a paper, and after submission, the journal sent an email to the corresponding author, asking us to review an article by another researcher. Later, they informed us that our submission had already been reviewed by someone else. Our own paper was ultimately rejected, citing insufficient coverage of indicators. I wonder if the two are related. Please treat emails from journals carefully. I hope that successful researchers can share some experiences with us. Let's work together and publish more high-quality articles

The review process is also quick after revision submission, like this time the acceptance came just two days after the first revision submission, which is good for students who need to graduate on time. One of the reviewers this time knew their stuff and asked good questions. The other reviewer seemed like they just wanted me to cite their article, talked a lot, and finally gave me an article to read, saying the discussion section was well written, but not very relevant. It was a bit shameless, but I still cited it, you gotta play the game. Overall, this journal doesn't seem too hard to get into

The whole process went very smoothly. The feedback was on some details that the reviewers were doubtful about. Some of the suggestions were quite fair (especially for the discussion section). Perhaps my article was also well-written (allow me to be a bit self-indulgent), and also, I am a PhD student at a university in the United States. I have heard a saying before that it is easier to get published in the United States than in my home country, but I am not sure if it is true. These are just my personal opinions for reference. Garbage Magazine. After revising and submitting according to the opinions of two reviewers, the magazine surprisingly found another two reviewers to review the paper again, and then rejected it after raising a bunch of irrelevant questions. I wrote to the editor asking why the reviewers were changed during the revision process, and the editor actually replied that they hoped the paper would be more easily accepted. Damn it, I wasted my time revising the paper according to the opinions of the first two reviewers. I do not recommend anyone to submit to this garbage magazine
