Very good journal. The editor is very fair and will reject some unreasonable requests from reviewers. The official website says that from submission to the first decision will be on average one month, but it was actually about 50 days for me. This speed is still good. There are 60-80 articles in 2011-2015 and 160 articles in 2016, so the impact factor went down. However, the quality of the papers is very good so I think the impact factor will go up in the long run.

Review speed: 3.0 Experience sharing: It took about 50 days from submission to receiving the first review. Minor revisions were requested, and after submitting the revised version, it was accepted within a week. As long as you follow the reviewers' suggestions for revisions, it's not difficult. This magazine is very good. It is the official biological journal published by the Royal Society of England, aiming to be on par with EMBL's EMBO J. Academician Shi Yigong and Academician Meng Anming are members of the editorial board. The downside is that the review process is very slow, there are very few articles published each year, and one article submitted tragically after 3 months
