The review process is very slow. It took almost a year from submission to online. Submission in April 2018, notice of major revisions in October 2018, accepted one week after major revisions returned, and online in February 2019. Fortunately, it was accepted. This is my first SCI paper, which was submitted to a journal of from Q2 to Q4. How pathetic.

This is too slow. First time I submitted it, I didn’t hear anything after two months  so I withdrew the paper. Didn’t get a response about that either. After seven or eight months, got an e-mail from the journal asking me to submit again. After I submitted again, I only got the comments after half a year. Accepted after a minor revision.

My first SCI paper has finally been settled. I had submitted to several journals before, but all were rejected by the editors without external review. I had lost hope, but unexpectedly, it was accepted upon first external review. Overall, the review process for this journal was a bit slow at first, taking over 4 months.
