The results came back with two minor revisions, and the editor combined these with two questions raised for a major revision. It took less than a week for the revised manuscript to be returned. The results of the revision came back in less than two months, with six reviewers invited again! Six reviewers!!! Three agreed, with one accepting the manuscript, one requiring minor revisions, and one rejecting it, which the editor followed. It can be quite disappointing, either having to find new reviewers or spending a lot of time and energy on major revisions without any fruitful suggestions for improvement
