We study air quality in Shaanxi Province, using pollutant monitoring data. The title of our paper is “Spatial and temporal variations in criteria air pollutants in three typical terrain regions in Shaanxi, China, during 2015.” If someone is doing similar research, we welcome any suggestions! Submitted on July 17, 2017; two months later, September 16, received the decision of major revision. Perhaps the editor thought the requested modifications are not difficult, so only gave me 10 days. Submitted again on September 26th on the last day; accepted on October 6. It took a total of 2 months and 20 days, which is quite fast. Currently the paper is being processed online. According to published articles, it takes about 2 weeks from acceptance to online publication. The journal's impact factor has just risen above 3 (3.184) this year. I think the review speed of this journal is much faster than before. It used to be about 4 months from submission to acceptance, and now it is faster, maybe because the journal wants to improve its impact. The number of articles published has also increased over the years. There were only 30 articles in 2012, but there were 84 articles in 2016, and this year maybe even more.  Although the number of published articles is low, the possibility of acceptance is still high, because after all, it is not a mainstream journal, and the quantity of submitted manuscripts cannot be that high. The required quality of papers I think is not that high, and since the IF is already greater than 3, it is worth submitting.
