Yes, it took 10 months from submission to acceptance yesterday. It has undergone preliminary review, second review, and final review. Two of the three reviewers raised some simple questions. After replying, all agreed to accept it. But the third one had been questioning the innovative type of the paper. It is actually a big problem that innovation of a paper was questioned, because it is difficult to modify, and you must find a way to repeatedly emphasize the innovativeness of your paper. After the second review, both reviewers 1 and 2 agreed to accept, but reviewer 3 still said that the innovation was not enough, requiring major revision. It’s extremely frustrating. However, the editor was very good and did not directly reject it. Instead, he gave us another opportunity to revise or rebut, and then we reiterated where the innovations were, and added a comparison with the previous papers. I had given up all hope and didn’t expect it was finally accepted. The editor of the journal was very good. I urged it several times, and the editor all replied timely and patiently. But because the content I wrote was rather minor, it took almost three months to find reviewers for the first review. The review process for my paper is quite special. I hope that you will not go through the third review and it will be directly accepted after the first review. Finally, I wish everyone receive an acceptance earlier.

Currently the journal is open access, with publication fees of approximately 3000 euros. Peer review began in January, and last month I received a letter stating that we are still awaiting one more review. The outcome is still unknown at this time.
