Just like in your situation, the opinions on the two reworkings were completely different. The first time was approved for a major revision, but the second time was rejected. The main reason for the rejection was that the issues that were deemed unacceptable during the second review were completely overlooked during the first review.

Submitted on April 25, 2024; received reviewer comments on January 23, 2025; accepted on March 11, 2025. The review process was relatively long, but Dr. Swaminathan was very good and many detailed revisions were communicated through email. Very diligent! The journal is worth submitting to, with not much difficulty in the submission process.

I submitted on October 6th and hadn't heard back until yesterday, so I wrote to the editor to ask about the progress. The editor replied saying that they hadn't found any reviewers yet, which was embarrassing. In September, one paper was revised and one was rejected by CBM. I have been working on experiments and simulations for fiber-reinforced concrete beams, and it feels like it has been eight months already.

I am willing to call it a civil engineering ceiling. It was awarded on January 11, 2024, underwent major repairs on May 3, returned on June 17, and underwent major repairs again on December 21. It was unused for a whole year. Those who do not know might think I am researching nature. The first major repair involved multiple discussions with my teacher and multiple revisions in language by other teachers. To be honest, this three-zone situation has made me deeply reflect on my academic level and my supervising teachers.
