Furthermore, which publisher nowadays doesn't recommend their own editing services? You can choose not to use them, and if they don't edit your work, you can say they've cheated you; but if someone else edits it, then what's the problem?

I was actively invited to submit my work, so I submitted my previous manuscript. The result was a smooth revision, with a suggestion for minor edits before acceptance. The editor also asked me to use English GO for polishing, and kindly informed me that forwarding emails would be discounted. Naively thinking that my work would be accepted, I happily paid 3k for polishing. However, to my surprise, it turned out to be a scam for polishing fees. After the polishing and revisions were completed, without even sending it to the reviewers, the editor directly rejected it! Truly despicable! I wish I had been kicked out earlier. It's not right to be lacking money, but it's even worse to lack ethics!

And to say that the reviewers didn't find it suitable? If the reviewers didn't think it was suitable for publication, why didn't they mention it during the initial review? Asking for minor edits, and then saying it's not suitable for publication?
