Reviewed 2021-12-30 20:24:11 Post hoc comparison is a test of non-research hypotheses. It is very common in practical research: I have completed the experiment, the hypothesis has been verified, but I still need to extend the study, so I need to continue exploring the data and see which direction will lead to valuable conclusions. At this point, it is equivalent to testing all possible comparisons (although in reality I cannot exhaust all comparisons, but since there is no specific purpose, all comparisons are potential possibilities).
