A very responsible journal. I did not write it very well in aspect of innovation for the first time, but the manuscript was affirmed by the editor and it was resubmitted under request of editor. Two reviewers in the first review brought out very few questions. One reviewer had two or three questions in average, and the editor requested a major revision. And the questions pointed to the principle which required a lot of paper work to get it answered. Five questions were answered in 10 pages. In addition to the two reviewers in the first review, the third reviewer were also invited for the review. Directly acceptance opinion was given by the first two reviewers, and rejection by the third one... The editor gave opinion for minor revision, and then it was accepted. This journal is very good and the editor is very responsible. It is a free OA journal. It could be polished for free after it is accepted. Only about 250 articles are accepted a year, so I specially give a good review for it.

The manuscript was accepted after revision. The editing process was rapid. A reviewer’s comments were very easy to respond, the editor gave some comments on format and language. Overall, it’s a good journal. It was received on September 26, 2018 and accepted on February 6, 2019.

Very good journal, but I don't know why it is not well known. Q2 in the ranking by Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Q1 in JCR ranking. Review is very fast, two to three reviewers. My paper is on a silicon-based nanocomposite, related to catalysis. Very happy it was accepted. Received: 18 April 2018; Accepted: 20 June 2018; Published: 06 July 2018. I hope people can submit their high-quality manuscripts there, so it’s ranking will go up.

When submitting a paper to BJNANO, could you please clarify whether it is necessary to provide information regarding the copyright and creation software of the images in the manuscript during the pre-revision stage? I have searched the official website but could not find a template or guidelines for this. Should I create one on my own?
