The world's only SCI journal on building ventilation. Manuscript should be directly sent to the editor by email for submission. The review is relatively fast, about 4 months.

Many of the best research articles in the ventilation field were published in the early days of the journal's founding around 2004. However, in recent years, only 20 or so articles are published each year, with an unusually slow review process taking an average of six months to a year. Both the editorial board and editors are very negative towards the review process, resulting in a very low journal impact factor (IF of only 1.5 in 2022) and no submission value. For ventilation research, experiments can be submitted to Building and Environment, and simulations to Building Simulation, both of which have a high impact factor and fast review speeds
