I did not have a great experience with this journal; I do not plan on submitting ever again. In short, I submitted my manuscript in March 2014, and then received a reply in May that I my article would be accepted in the second issue published in 2015. I paid the fee (800 Euro); however, my article was not published in the second issue. After the third issue was published, I contacted the editor and found out that the editor-in-chief had changed. Moreover, my article was now unacceptable for publication due to language issues. At least the journal returned my money… but still.

As long as we can maintain the SCI sources for the journal, it's fine. If the school starts using CiteScore for calculation, there is nothing to worry about. On one hand, CiteScore includes a wider range of journals, and this journal is definitely included. On the other hand, it benefits smaller journals, so everyone's differences won't be as significant. Considering its large publication volume (about 170 articles per year), and many articles seem to be average, at the same level as mine, so I think there may be some hope.
