It was submitted at the end of November 2019. Major revisions were required at the beginning of January 2020, and the revised manuscript was returned at the end of the month. This journal is not good. The processing efficiency is so low: a paper often stays in the “editor assigned” status for one month, and then gets rejected for the following reason: “Information is of local interest only. No new knowledge, science or discovery is presented.” Funny thing is that I recently submitted three articles to the journal, all of which were directly rejected with the above reason, but these manuscripts were later published in journals that are ranked much higher than this one. I don't know if this is because the journal doesn't want manuscripts from Chinese authors.
