However, returning a manuscript to the authors for revisions does not mean that the article has been accepted for publication. Ultimately, whether the article is accepted or not depends on whether the author's revisions to the critical content and wording of the article meet the requirements of the reviewers and editors. 
The materials typically returned to the authors for revisions include the original manuscript, the reviewers' comments, and a cover letter from the editor. Upon receiving the revised manuscript, authors should first carefully read the cover letter and reviewers' comments. Then they should consider whether they can or are willing to accept the suggestions from the reviewers or editor and revise the manuscript accordingly. The likelihood of the article being accepted can be seen from the response of the editor and the revised comments from the reviewers. Revisions should not be rushed, and authors should carefully read and understand the reviewers' concerns. They should respond to each reviewer's comments individually, specify the changes made in the revised manuscript (page, lines), and write a letter to the editor thanking them for their suggestions and explaining the reasons for any changes not made
