After the acceptance, it took four months of formatting. The reason why this formatting is so slow is that SPE J has a specialized department of formatting, which will guarantee the publication quality. The language will be polished and the figures will be further processed. In short, it is very professional. I had published several articles in the journals with very high impact factors before. Many journals publish the accepted articles online after adjusting them according to the template. Regardless of review process, SPE J is indeed a No. 1 journal in the field of petroleum, even if only because it requires further editing of the accepted articles.

The SPE Journal has been recognized as the most prestigious publication in the petroleum engineering field since its inception in 1996. The lofty reputation of the five or six articles per journal comes from the following points: 1. SPE is the journal of the World Petroleum Engineers Association. JACS similar to the chemical circle. 2. SPE Journal is integrating the above-mentioned publications from some famous old-fashioned publications such as SPE Advanced Technology Series; SPE Computer Applications; SPE Formation Evaluation; Journal of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers and Society of Petroleum Engineers. After revising and resubmitting the manuscript on April 7, it went through another round of awaiting technical editor scores, AE recommendation, and EE decision. Finally, on April 28, it was accepted for publication. The editorial team and reviewers, including Professor Junichi Sugiura as the handling editor for my research topic, took almost two months to accept the manuscript. Professor Sugiura's quick decision-making process was particularly noteworthy, with results being delivered as soon as the day after the AE had reviewed the manuscript.
