This journal for geotechnical engineering is very slow, but the reviewer was very professional. The editor returned the opinions of several reviewers. The first review took 5 months and the second review, 4.  After manuscript was returned and revised, it was accepted one month later, with modifications. From submission to acceptance, about 12 months, to online 14 months.

It's just slow, took nearly seven months to get the first review, and it stayed in the hands of the editor for over two months. The review process was fine, but after the first review was completed, there was no second acceptance for a long time. The second acceptance and review were received on the same day. The feedback received included comments from the reviewer and the editor. In short, it's just slow.
