It’s an article about acoustic metamaterials and sound column focusing lens. 5/14 submission, about 20 days to respond to review comments, two reviewers, minor revisions. Revised submission on 6/17, accepted on 7/7, and published online on 7/17. In the whole process, I felt that the follow-up was very fast and the responsibility division of labor was very clear. A little problem: APEX's LaTeX template is from JJAP, you need to modify the header yourself, and there are lack of stl files, you need to add it before you can compile it.

In the past few years, the review period has become faster. One of our lab’s articles was initially submitted to OE, but then it was transferred to APE post-revisions. The review time for this journal was more than one month. We suspected that this was the case because there were many reviewers who refused to review our paper for one reason or another.
