Reviewed 2020-10-10 09:00:30 It is wrong to use the number of articles published by a journal to measure its quality. The top journal in mathematics and physics—Communications in Mathematical Physics—has a publication volume of 480 articles per year, and 40 articles per month. However, this journal is at least 1 to 2 grades higher than SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis. The scopes of the articles accepted by JDE is wider than those of SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, and therefore the total number of articles is larger. These two journals have several common equation editors, and both of them allow the contributor to recommend reviewers by themselves. Judging from the quality of the articles published in it, the journals are on the same level. As for which is higher, which is lower, it all depends on the individual.  (16) Thank | 土鳖  |
