After the first submission to Scripta Materialia, I was a bit unwilling after the rejection. It took two months and a half after the second submission, and it was finally accepted after major revision. It was editor-in-chief Hono in both submissions. Compared with other journals, my feeling is that Scripta Materialia had higher requirements for the innovation of the article. The editor didn’t blindly follow, the reviewers found were responsible, who review the article carefully, which was the reason why Scripta Materialia has an excellent reputation in the industry. There were good results, and Scripta Materialia is really worth submission. Although it is difficult to be accepted, the article will be presentable in any filed if it was published on it. Finally, I hope Scripta Materialia will be better and better!
