What I submitted was about respiratory biomechanics. There were 2 articles submitted in total, both of which took 2 weeks for the first review, and both were reviewed by two reviewers. The first article was accepted after revision, and the second one was rejected. Because it can only be revised once, if you encounter a fussy reviewer, it will be a tragedy. Both reviewers must agree, and after the submission of the manuscript revised according to the comments of the first review, if there is still disagreement, then it is a tragedy. Let me talk about the second article. One reviewer raised more than 20 questions, and the English was messy, and I couldn't read it at all. I looked for a few professors, probably guessed what the reviewer meant, and finished the answer. The reviewer's reply was: The author answered very well, but why there was only one experiment done? The problem is, in the direction of biomechanics, there were hundreds of references, but there was no one did a multi-sample experiment. The high cost was scary, but the reviewer insisted not accepting it! The editor said that the reviewer insisted not accepting it, and rejected it!
