Submitted an article on October 1 last year, doing experiments on transcriptomics of plant pathogenic bacteria.  Heard back in November, and given two months to modify. We returned the revised manuscript around January 19, and it was accepted on February 14 this year. I feel that the editor of the journal is very responsible. After the submission, three reviewers were asked to review the manuscript. The third reviewer gave comments late, and the editor got the news to me and said a lot of apologies.
