Now I want to share the right format in which I successfully submitted the manuscript, in the hopes of helping others, though it may not be all correct. The first page contained the article category (several major directions stipulated by the journal, which can be found in the submission guidelines. For example, MICROBIOLOGY AND FOOD SAFETY, etc. It should be in a separate line, uppercase and bold, centered, in 14 pt Times New Roman), manuscript title (The first letter of the sentence should be capitalized, bold, and the requirements are the same as above), authors (font in 11 pt), and affiliations (font in 10 pt). Abstract and keywords should appear on the second page after a page break. ABSTRACT should be not indented, but capitalized and bold, and then enter the content of the abstract. Then start a new line, enter keywords in bold. As follows: ABTRACT xxxxxxxxxxxx (paragraph, 10 pt, 1.5 line spacing) Key words: xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Start the main text on the third page. Double-spaced. First-level headings such as INTRODUCTION are centered, bold, all uppercase, 14 pt, in a single line, 10 points of space after a paragraph. The first letter of the second-level heading should be capitalized, 14 pt, bold, italic, without indentation, in a separate line; The first letter of the third-level title is capitalized, 12 pt, italic, bold indented by 2 characters, adding a “.” in the end, and continue to write without starting another line. The main text should be 10 points of space after a paragraph and the font size is 12 pt.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS comes behind the main text. After it, break pages and put references. REFERENCES is in the first line, 14 pt, bold and centered. The figures and tables are placed at the end of the manuscript and each in a separate page. Remember to add consecutive line numbers!!!!! The format of my initial submission was as above. The editor did not return the manuscript but sent it for review. It may also be the case that the editor was bored by my two submissions, so he no longer clung to my format. Later, my revised manuscripts for the second review were only texts, and the figures and attachments were uploaded to the system separately. It was my first time to submit a manuscript to a SCI journal and I had no experience. This journal had strict format requirements. The manuscript was sent back twice because of format issues. One or two reviewers gave some comments about supplementing the literature, revising language and questions about some experimental contents. The journal gave me 6 weeks to revise. After I revised the manuscript at a snail's pace, I submitted it on the last day. On the third day, the system showed that it had been accepted. I am waiting for the proofread and publication. The publication fee is not clear. The feeling is that if the expert opinions are positive in the first review, the success rate is very high.
