I submitted another article again, and it has been accepted. The requirements are getting higher and higher, especially for those of us who have no relationship or platform. It was not in Q1 of category division. It was useless even it was top; the reward was much less. There were several groups of reviewers and dozens of questions, the reply is enough to write another long article to submit to Polymer Chemistry. The speed was OK.

It was rejected by AHM. The review turnaround time is one month and there were two reviewers. The first reviewer just rejected it in one word without any reason; the other reviewer requested a minor revision and the review comment was very positive. But the editor rejected it. What should I do?

This seems to be a good journal. I struggled with my revisions, though. I didn’t fully understand all the reviewer requests. This can be a tough journal for ESL authors. I recommend making use of a language editing company prior to submission.

Polymer Chemistry is a well-established second-tier RSC journal. As for ACS Applied Polymer Materials, it is currently also a second-tier journal. I think it is acceptable and not considered trash.

Submitted on 22nd September 1930, revised on 25th October, revised again on 17th November, rejected on 28th November due to a result that did not meet the expectations of the reviewers. Successful appeal on 9th December, sent to a third reviewer. Direct acceptance on 12th January 1923, suggesting to add the paper to the back cover.
