The supervisor is old and doesn't understand much about journals. The senior fellow told the supervisor that the articles were published in Q1 and Q2 journals. Thus, the rest of us were panicked and were urged to submit to SCI journals every day. The supervisor even feels that it is very easy to publish in SCI journals, and the papers could be accepted within one or two months. I don’t mind it if you publish in such journals, but can you keep silent after the publishing? Don't you know what level are you at?

Warning: the reviewers can be very tough re: the quality of the English writing; if you are an international researcher you better make use of an editing service or you may very quickly receive a desk rejection. The reviewers are very strict and thorough.
