Experience Sharing: My manuscript has been through a winding path and is still under review. The status has been updated many times, but I'm not sure what it all means. On 3.24, the article was submitted. On 4.04, the handling editor provided the feedback "Revise before review" and requested a revision by 4.20. The feedback was very nice, and the editor was good. On 4.18, I contacted the senior editor via email requesting an extension due to time constraints. On 4.19, the editor replied and agreed to extend the deadline to 5.10. On 5.08, the revised manuscript was resubmitted. On 5.09, the senior editor requested confirmation of the corresponding author's information. I replied to the email and explained the situation. The status of the article showed "with editor." About a week later, the status changed to "Editor Assigned," and another week later, it was "Under review." The following statuses are a bit difficult to understand. The "Under review" status continued for a month, until mid to late June, when the status changed to "Editor Assigned---reviewer Assigned---under review---Editor Assigned." As of now, it is still "Editor Assigned." I am having trouble understanding this repetitive process, and I would appreciate some insights from experienced peers

Review Speed: 2.0 Experience Sharing: Just posted an article here, it took 1.5 months for the review process, I will share my thoughts. My article was written in a general way, I just did a lot of work, and the innovation was not very high. After the review was completed, it took about 3 weeks to receive the revision comments. After reading the review comments, I personally felt that one reviewer's comments were more negative, while the other provided minor revisions. I felt that the associate editor's comments might lead to rejection, but in the email with the review comments, it seemed that the editor-in-chief thought it was still acceptable, and asked me to carefully revise according to the comments from the reviewers. After submitting the revised manuscript on the same day, the editor-in-chief decided to basically accept it, with just two more references to be added. I feel that the editor-in-chief of this journal is very responsible, he will carefully read the articles and review comments, and if he thinks the article is still acceptable, even if the review comments are somewhat negative, there should not be a problem.
