It took more than 3 months from submission to acceptance, and it was soon online. The final version with year, volume and issue number was not released until June this year. The editor and reviewers were very professional and attentive. The comments raised by the reviewers were very professional. It is a very classic journal in physics. There is no publication fee. It was a journal focused on physical science issues which is different from journals in chemistry and materials. It requires a clear explanation of the physical connotation issues. It is not easy to be accepted for the articles submitted directly; many articles are (firstly submitted to the journals of) Advanced Materials series, which were required to transfer to this journal by the editor and accepted. The overall quality of this journal is good.

An old brand physics journal. the questions asked by reviewers are very professional. Two reviewers reviewed the manuscript quickly. After 20 days of submission, comments were returned, and after revisions were returned to the reviewer, new comments were given 20 days later. We responded 3 days later. Then it was accepted directly on the second day. However, it seems that the publication is very slow. I personally feel that it is more difficult than JAP. The issue volume is small, but the journal is relatively good in physics field. It feels like more difficult than many journals of Q2.
