The first review was pretty fast, which took one month. The editor was being very responsible, and the second review took a long time after the revision submitted. It took totally 4 months from submission to acceptance, which was quite good. I wish Petroleum Science better and better.

Mine was mainly because it was delayed one month by the reviewers after major revision. However, it generally took less than 30 days for the second review. It is said that if it exceeds 30 days, the reviewer will receive a reminder letter. In recent years, Petroleum Science has been strongly supported by the country, and it is said that the impact factor will increase a lot in a few years. The mainstream voice also hopes that more manuscripts can be submitted to good domestic journals. It seems that the leading journals like Petroleum Science is limitless. You can try oil-based manuscripts. Editors and reviewers are still very responsible.
