Copy someone's submission experience and strive to write one in the future. The journal was quick, with revisions made in less than a month. However, my article required major revisions, so it took nearly 2 months to complete the supplementary experiments. I also had American friends help with the language editing, and it wasn't until 3 months later that the revisions were finalized, with acceptance on February 22nd. My personal feeling is that clinical articles on biomarkers are worth a try
