OE now has a 15-day response limit for reviewers. The three reviewers of the article gave very good opinions. The editor required a major revision, and the editor directly accepted it in 10 days after resubmission. My most recent paper was rejected from this journal, and I disagree with some of the reviewer’s comments. I wrote to the staff noting this. However, the editor quickly replied to the message "I believe there are good reasons why this manuscript is not suitable for Optics Express.” Frustrating. My Conclusion: If you are unfortunately rejected, especially in the OSA journal, unless it is an editorial mistake, no matter how justified your opinion, you are out of luck.

Two months, laser frequency stabilization related direction. Previously submitted to OL three reviewers, one major revision, one minor revision, the third reviewer rejected without reason, appeal was unsuccessful. Resubmitted to OE for two months, finally received feedback from four reviewers, with the editor suggesting a total of more than 30 issues for revision. After responding, the second review found that one of the issues was raised by the editor. The second review ended with two reviewers accepting the paper, while one reviewer raised five questions, insisting on simulating the experimental results despite the experiments already being conducted. It is difficult to understand why simulation is necessary when experiments have been completed. After responding to the second review, the editor accepted the paper directly. Thanks to the editor and hope OE will continue to improve.

The speed is okay, with an average of one review result per month. However, the quality of the articles in this journal is hard to describe, as I focus on the photon spin Hall effect. It's really hard to put it into words.

The phrase "more time approval" directly translates to allowing more time. In other words, the reviewer agrees to review but requests more time to complete the review, which should be the previous status. The editor now agrees to extend the review deadline for the reviewer.

Can we still modify or add author affiliation information during the time period between the acceptance of the journal under OSA and receiving the proof? The modification is minor, and the added affiliation only differs in the name of one laboratory from the original affiliation.
