My most recent paper was rejected from this journal, and I disagree with some of the reviewer’s comments. I wrote to the staff noting this. However, the editor quickly replied to the message "I believe there are good reasons why this manuscript is not suitable for Optics Express.” Frustrating. My Conclusion: If you are unfortunately rejected, especially in the OSA journal, unless it is an editorial mistake, no matter how justified your opinion, you are out of luck.
