Originally, one of our papers was intended to be a nucleic acid research (NAR) paper, but in retrospect, NAR is not the best publication in the field, although the impact factor of the publication is currently higher than MM. But its influence is not as good as MM. We decided to take the risk to submit in MM. Fortunately, the two reviewers agreed to publish the revised review, while the third asked for the experiment. We clenched our teeth and filled out the experiment details, answered the questions one by one, and cited relevant literature to illustrate the experiment. Seven days after the paper was returned, they let us know it was accepted.
