Not bad, isn't it better to categorize it into the Materials Science discipline? I feel that the Materials Science discipline is quite broad. As long as the sub-disciplines include mechanics and mechanical engineering, its categorization is not the same as sub-disciplines that include chemistry and characterization testing. If the Materials Science discipline is categorized under Engineering and Technology (with many strong journals related to mechanics and mechanical engineering), then it is bound to be classified as a Q3 category.
