During the epidemic period, the manuscript was submitted on February 25. The reviewers gave comments for revision within one month (March 24), and the major revision was submitted on April 15. A few very simple suggestions for minor revision were given on April 29, and it was accepted on May 13 after the revisions. It took about two and a half months from submission to acceptance. The reviewers sought by the editor were the authors of the two articles I cited, and their suggestions were professional.

It was 5 whole months from the initial submission to acceptance, and I revised 3 times in the middle. The website’s own statistics are an average of 49 days for initial review and 149 days from review to acceptance. I think it is quite appropriate. It is a hybrid journal, and you can choose OA or not. The editor is a Japanese Yoshihiro Shiraiwa. One of the reviewers was really very, very rigorous and serious, to the degree that I need correct them in the returned manuscripts if something is wrong with a space or a letter was missing in the reference. For this reason, the boss criticized me for my carelessness.

This journal is relatively small, and the publication process is not very long. Only 81 articles were published last year, so it is very small. The theme of the journal is very clear. I read the introduction and research on the reorganization of the journal. On Google, I read that one of my reviewers is super-slow in getting comments back to authors.

This magazine used to be quite good. It is still in the first quartile. I don't know what happened last year. 
I work in algae and often submit articles to the algae journals AR, JPY, and JAP.

This journal has a high rate of rejection, personally feel that this journal has not been published for a long time, but the requirements for the article are getting stricter, IFMore than 3 should be a matter of time.
