I submitted my article and the reviewers have various minor revisions. They pointed out helpful things to address, such as the dot format problem. It took me about 17 days to respond with revisions. Overall, it took 4 months from submission to final acceptance. It was a relatively smooth process.

Terrible submission, submitted at the end of August and still no news by the end of December. Inquiring revealed that the reviewers had not responded yet, very frustrating. (Why would reviewers agree if they don't review? If there's an issue, they shouldn't agree in the first place.) Continued waiting, no reminders or new reviewers sought. Was already aware of the slow process, but didn't expect it to be this slow. In January, I saw the status change to "decision," but by mid-January, still no news. Emailed and found out it was rejected, I was very angry. Checked all emails carefully, did not receive a rejection letter, and nothing was stated on the system. Waited 5 months and received nothing, one reviewer gave some advice to improve the English, the second reviewer had no comments, yet it was rejected. I can't understand why. (This journal is known for quick rejections, even my mentor had 3 submissions rejected within around 7 months). Don't submit if you can't wait, even without a big name to back you up

Civil Engineering is a well-established journal with a high level of quality. Each issue only contains three to four papers, making it very difficult to be accepted. However, the editorial team processes manuscripts relatively quickly. I submitted my paper in August and it was accepted in November. It was a fantastic experience of submitting my work.
