I had to say that this was the most absurd thing I have ever encountered so far. The paper was submitted on May 8th. It was returned on July 16th. The editor said that he received a reviewer’s comments, who did not raise any objections and there was no need to modify it. That only one reviewer made comments was not in compliance with the regulations, the editor said. But he read the article and thought there was no problem, so he accepted it directly.

This journal has a very low impact factor of only 0.1 or so, but it is very easy to get your work accepted to it. Before 2009, there is no reviewer at all; the editor-in-chief reviewed all articles. But now it seems to be more formal; there must be peer review, usually 4 reviewers (very scary, it seems). The editor generally requires reviewers to review the draft within 45 days and then provide feedback comments. Therefore, the review period is generally about two months. There is a strong request for reviewers to reject the manuscript, and there are generally opportunities for re-repair. The previous publication period was around 8 months, and I don't know what it is now.

Two papers, actually it should have been one paper, but I divided the data and submitted them separately. The reviewers were very kind and after asking about the differences between the two papers, they accepted both. The reviewers need to provide two names themselves.
