Jun. 23 Submission; Jul. 3 review comments received. There were two reviewers, each raised 10 questions. We gave some analysis and explanation, and added two comparison data. Jul. 16 Replied to review comments. The next day it was accepted. The speed of acceptance is very fast. I hope the journal will get better and better.

AS is Japan’s journal for surface analysis, and it is basically full of articles from their research institutions and companies (semiconductors and steel).Therefore, a lot of the research is not in line with studies published elsewhere, particularly in mainland China. The impact factor is not high, as this journal primarily provides a reporting platform for companies with surface analysis and other related fields. Basically, people that publish in this journal are all insiders, and everyone knows each other. If you’re not part of this community, I recommend publishing elsewhere.

Previously submitted to this journal from the lab, and the review process was fast, but the post-acceptance process was slower.
