The paper was submitted to this journal in last year. On 2018-10-29, paper was submitted; On 2018-12-10, reviewer comments were given. The comments were rubbish, basically there were no meaningful comments. On 2018-12-18, returned and with editor for more than three months. It has been under review for 79 days. Since I had not submitted for this journal before, and my article was rejected by JHM, I tried JIEC. The process was very slow. I guess I will remember this submission my entire life. After submitting in July,  the manuscript was with the editor and not submitted for review until October. The opinions of three reviewers were appropriate and I revised and resubmitted in January. Then I heard nothing. I don’t remember how many reminder emails I sent to every editor. Finally, in August I got a reply letting me know I’d hear back in a week. I received the rejection letter that night stating that the reviewer doesn’t recommend publication. It is best to submit to other journals.

The journal review process was fast, maybe because the direction I took was something that they were particularly interested in. There were 4 reviewers and a total of 30 comments. Only 1 minor revision was needed for the second round of review. After revisions, the paper was accepted. One of the reviewers had high expectations for the experiments, so I made some adjustments to meet their requirements. Overall, the novelty of the research was considered to be above average.
