Submitted a short communication, two months later received the reviewer comments. The editor did not find the comments too difficult, only gave two weeks to revise. Finally made revisions on the last day, but two weeks later received another round of reviewer comments requesting further revisions. The editor surprisingly decided to reject the manuscript on their own, very unprofessional. Upon checking, found out the editor is from Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. No wonder the impact factor of this journal has been declining, with such biased and irresponsible editors, it's difficult to attract high-quality submissions

Submitted on April 21st, revised on June 13th with a 6-week deadline; it took me a month to finish the revisions due to the many experiments that needed to be completed; was told to submit the sequencing results to a public database, but with little experience in this area, I submitted it as supplementary material on July 15th after the major revision; minor revisions on August 22nd, and was asked to submit the sequencing data; thus, I submitted it to GEO. Now waiting for the results... Hopefully it will be successful
