Reviewed 2024-07-29 10:35:29 In March, I was transferred to this journal, which is ESCI. It will receive its first impact factor this year, so I accepted the transfer. After the transfer, there was no progress for nearly a month. I sent an email to inquire, and the senior editor was very nice, telling me that the handling editor had just taken up the position and lacked experience, but would start the process soon and send it for review in a few days. Several submissions were sent for review, but no reviewers accepted for two to three weeks. I sent another email to inquire, and the handling editor was also very nice, telling me to be patient.
