My article was reviewed three times by three reviewers, two of whom wrote extremely long review comments each time–almost as long as my article. After redoing experiments, adding analysis, it took about a year to be officially accepted. I don't know how it will be with Professor Wang Lihong as the new editor-in-chief. I hope that either the submission process becomes simpler or the SCI factor increases, striving for the best cost-effectiveness
