AMERICAN JOURNAL OF DERMATOPATHOLOGY is a journal focused on skin pathology. Skin pathology is a non-neoplastic disease and a neoplastic disease. The content published in this journal is relatively general. I think it is relatively easy to publish in relative to the journal of cutaneous pathology. The reviewers provide pertinent commentary, but the comments aren’t as sharp as the journal of cutaneous pathology. For my first submission, I received a reviewer evaluation that was positive. Their main suggestion was to work on the English grammar and details. My manuscript was sent back and forth to the editor twice and they still weren’t satisfied. Even after two rounds of edits the editor still asked me to find a native speaker to continue to modify the text appropriately. I modified the text myself and then my manuscript got accepted…
