A meta-analysis submitted at the end of October was accepted on February 8th. Generally, it takes about a month from submission to acceptance, but it seems like it took two months because the editor was on holiday in the middle. However, the chief editor is really nice. One out of three reviewers found it meaningless, so they sent it to a fourth to make a decision. As a result, it was accepted. Unlike some journals, they reject submissions outright when experts' opinions differ, which can be frustrating
