I do research on welding technology. The article had been written a long time ago, but it had been delayed for three months, I submitted it in April this year. I originally wanted to submit it to a Q3 journal, but my tutor recommended ISIJ International, saying that the review was very fast. The article was basically submitted without revision. It took three months for the first review; the speed was not fast or slow. However, in the second review, two months was given for the minor revision. Seriously, It's a bit slow. As for the previous article submitted to Journal of Materials Processing Technology, after the submission of the revised manuscript, it was accepted on the next day. However, the one submitted to ISIJ International, it took two months before the acceptance was given. Although it is as expected, I am still very happy; it is my second SCI article. During the review process of this article, I submitted another one in this journal. It has been three months, and the requirement for the revision was given yesterday. It can be calculated as double happiness. My tutor is also very happy!

There was one reviewer. The article was sent for review on the second day after submission. The comments of first review were given in three month, and 21 days were given for revision. One month after submitting the revised manuscript, it was accepted. The format requirements of this journal are very cumbersome. Figures, tables and content cannot be included in a document, which is annoying. References must not have hyperlinks. Compared with other journals, this kind of operation is relatively troublesome. The journal is highly recognized in the field of steel metallurgy.

The submission was made in May, and due to the reference format issue, it was revised several times. The editor's responsible attitude was appreciated, and after about a month of external review, minor revisions were suggested. The revised version was accepted in July, and the process went quite smoothly. It is my second SCI publication, and graduation is getting closer. Metallurgy papers are still highly recognized, so I recommend submitting to this journal!
