At the beginning of September, we submitted our paper and the review speed was relatively fast. We received our paper back with minor revisions from the reviewers. It took us about a month to incorporate all the edits. Unfortunately, we think the editor let our paper sit on this desk for at least half a month. When we reached the deadline for resubmission, it ended up being too long of a delay to be published… all because the editor didn’t ensure progress. I don’t want to knock the editors and reviewers – they are all very strong. We simply didn’t have a great experience – maybe we will try submitting again in the future.
