I have admired IJSS for a long time. After all, it is one of the most recognized journals in the field of mechanics. This is my first article as a graduate student. It was much more systematic and I wanted to submit to IJSS, but I didn't expect too much at first. The first review was from July 2018 to February 2019. One of the two reviewers was positive and the other recommended rejection. (Mainly talking about the language issues, and the questions were easy), the editor gave me 20 days to modify the article. Since I was given the opportunity to revise it, which means there’s a hope, so I decided to make a major revision. It took 20 days to revise, and the overall level of the article was indeed improved by a level. The manuscript was returned in March 2019 and it was under review on the same day. The second review lasted one and a half months. What surprising me was that both the reviewers gave highly positive comments and the reviewer who originally suggested rejection gave a surprising evaluation in the second review comments. The manuscript was accepted finally! Overall, the processing speed of the editor was very fast, and returned it to the author basically within 3 days after receiving the review comments. It’s mainly delayed on the first review.
